Back to School Take 2 is in action. For this post I wanted to make something for my daughter Porter. She is weird about her clothes fitting in certain ways, so I was hoping to make her something that would be worn. I have to say, it was successful. As soon as we took the photos for this outfit, she was asking if she could wear it to school the next day. Yay for success!!!

For this outfit I paired the Tee Shirt from the Love Notions Cartwheel Collection and the Reef Walker Shorts from New Horizons Designs. I don’t have a ton of patterns from either of these companies, but the ones I do I always feel are a great addition to my pattern library.

I enjoyed sewing up these shorts. They were quick and easy and have just enough detail to keep them a notch above some other basic knit short patterns I have.

The cartwheel collection tee as a fun cut-out style back that is super trendy for the time. My girls are loving. I’m sure the adorable Raspberry Creek Fabrics helps make everything love-able too.
